    Authentication and Base URL

    Versioned routes are recommended for new integrations. Existing integrations can continue using https://tazwlespypmedlgtxeld.supabase.co/functions/v1/api.

    Authentication

    All API requests require an API key. Include your key in the request headers:

    x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY

    Generate your API key from your dashboard settings.

    Permissions

    Keys can be limited to content:read, content:write, media:write, and webhooks:manage. Use the smallest set your integration needs.

    Create Universal Content

    Create one draft or scheduled item across connected social, blog, and email destinations. Use this for Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, Notion, CRMs, or custom apps.

    The universal endpoint supports draft and scheduled modes. Immediate publishing is handled inside the app so users can review destination-specific settings first.

    Webhooks

    /webhooks

    Subscribe your automation, CRM, or custom app to Salt events. The signing secret is returned once when the subscription is created. Verify each request with the X-Salt-Signature header.

    Supported events

    content.created, post.published, publish.failed, and generation.completed. Content-created delivery is active now; additional publishing and generation events will use the same contract as those workflows are emitted.

    Safe retries

    Send an Idempotency-Key header when creating universal content. Retrying the same request with the same key returns the original result instead of creating duplicate campaigns or posts.

    • 401 - Invalid or missing API key
    • 404 - Endpoint not found
    • 400 - Bad request (missing required fields)
    • 500 - Internal server error
